Tagging has come up several times. The songs are tagged but usually the tagging doesn’t appear, at least for me, unless I take extra steps. I don’t know why and I am not very knowledgeable about this stuff, but I’ll tell you what works for me. First of all, I use a Mac and the tagging is done in iTunes. In order for the tagging to actually appear, I have to use a Doug’s applescript, “CD Text to CD info.” At the time I got it some years ago, the program was free.

ReplyDeleteTagging is a great help. I tag everything in my music library. But you give enough information to make tagging dates, album covers, etc all the much easier. It must take an awful lot of work to compile these mixes and I wouldn't want to see you quit just because of some jerks who are too lazy to do the work themselves. Thank you for what you do.
